The investment firm gained ownershipp of the building at350 E. First Ave. by takin g control of a -affiliated real estats partnership that had renovated the historic industriakl building intoabout 36,000 square feet of loft offic space. "We were about to look for office space in one of ourotherd (investment) properties when this building became available," said Anchor principalk Larry Gunsorek. The real estate partnership purchased the buildingin 2000, but the bulk of the leasingf didn't take place untilp after the office market improved in 2004. The last remaining renovatef space ofnearly 5,000 squar e feet "was all built out," Gunsorek said.
