Santikos Theatres invests in new film-delivery technology by Kodak - San Antonio Business Journal:

Later this month, Kodak Digitall Cinema will installthe company's Koda k Theatre Management System on all the screends at Santikos' newly construction Silveradko 19 in Houston and on nine screens of the company'xs year-old Palladium 19 in San Antonio. The Kodakm Theatre Management System is connected toa company's ticketin system and loads and directs all motionn pictures, trailers and other pre-sho content to the proper screen. The system also has the abilityg to show 2D and3D films. It is a centralized movie-managementy system. "Kodak brought the right packagwto us," says Richard Cieplechowicz, director of businesds development for Santikos.
"Our peopled had seen their systems in a working environmengt and knew theywere reliable, but the depth of thei technology appealed to us He adds, "Our company is growing. We'r always refreshing our operations in San Antonioi and now we also are bringing the Santikos brand to movie-goers elsewhere. The Kodak system is designed to growwith us." Santikoas Theatres is the largest locally owned and operated movid theater company in San Antonio. The company also is in the procesas of expanding into other major cities in Kodak Digital Cinema has installed the systenon 2,000 screens with 40 exhibition chainws worldwide.
