Edina-based Alliant (NYSE: ATK) lost $32.78 million, or $1 per in the first three months ofthe year, on the impactr of a $109 million impairmenrt charge. Fourth-quarter salees rose more than 11 percen tto $1.26 billion, from $1.13 billion for the same quartere a year before. The growth was fueled by strontg commercialammunition sales, and initiap deliveries of non-standard ammunition for the Afgha n Security Forces.
